Chiang Mai Week 4

Dear Everyone,

Sorry for the late post. We went to Chiang Rai this weekend! We went to the blue temple, the white temple, and the black museum. It was so fun! I will tell you all about it.

On the way to Chiang Rai, I was listening to K-pop Demon Hunters and Bongo Cat music. To whoever doesn’t know what Bongo Cat is, it’s a good Youtube Channel.

The blue temple is a very small, blue temple that is all blue (and a bit of yellow). There are animal statues surrounding the temple and some were still being painted so we couldn’t see the final result yet. Some parts of the temple are also in construction, but the inside is perfectly fine.

The white temple was very big and was covered in mirrors, and it didn’t help that the sun was very bright. By the way, I forgot to bring my sunglasses so I wasn’t really looking forward to seeing the white temple. To go into the temple you need to walk across a bridge surrounded by zombie hand and the meaning of this is that you have to do something hard to deserve something good. The white temple is also really small and all the pathways are taking up a lot of space.

There were really grand toilets that were covered in gold paint but the reason why the designers made it this colour was to remind everyone that no matter who you are (even if you are amazing) you still have to do basic bodily functions.

The black museum was filled with alligator skins and moose horn chairs, but there was a cat so I was patting it the whole time. I didn’t really do anything in there except admire the cat’s fur. 🙂

So back in Chiang Mai with a capital M, I’m also doing Muay Thai now! Muay Thai is like boxing, if you were wondering. It’s really fun and really tiring so I get good exercise. Wheeeeehoooo!

I got to go punch some hanging beanbags now, bye!
