Dear Everyone,
A few days ago, there was a truck driving BACKWARDS in our small alleyway; a person slipping in a puddle when walking and holding a drink, probably holding Thai tea, THAI TEA; a few people getting tired of tropical fruits like bananas and mangoes (I KNOW); and stray cats and dogs everywhere!
Welcome to Chiang Mai, Thailand.
We live on a tiny alleyway but it’s a very important road because at least 2 cars pass our apartment every day. There’s been a lot of trucks passing us too, because once they were making such a racket I had to see what was going on. It was nothing much except for a humungous truck with a person on the top where there shouldn’t really be people and he was leading the truck backwards! Nothing very crazy so far…
If you don’t understand the last sentence of the previous paragraph, search up on the internet what sarcasm means.
Whoops! Oof, now my pants are very muddy. I should’ve seen that puddle! it did look a bit deep…
Has this ever happened to you before? Not to me. But when I was in a taxi, I was looking outside and guess what I saw? A person slipping in a puddle that did look a bit deep. And that’s not all, he landed on one hand and it looks like he was holding a drink in the other hand! I know it’s kinda weird to be so crazy about drinks but since I am in Thailand I had to try the Thai tea. IT. WAS. THE. BEST. So, you get it.
Speaking of drinks, since I’m in Thailand, I’m never going to have a mango smoothie for a really long time. Since I’m in Thailand, I’m never going to have coconut ice cream for a really long time either. Since I’m in Thailand, I forgot what it’s like to be cold. Because, well, it’s Thailand!
But there are some other nice things that Chiang Mai has, that we went to.
First off, the cat cafe was really nice because there were tonnes of cats. The drink was so good. We came there just for the soda (Look at the fifth paragraph). There were around 30 cats, and four of them were named after Blackpink. If you don’t know what Blackpink is, it’s a K-pop group with four people.
There are stray dogs and cats everywhere. They are so skinny and I wish I could help them but they might have disease or they might have an owner. There are so many stray animals! I wonder if they fight a lot?
We saw a lot of squirrels fighting on the power line.
Count how many paragraphs you have read. That’s only week one! So even though I have nothing else to say, there will be plenty more things in my brain I must write down in the next few weeks. We will stay here for four more weeks and then go to Hong Kong for a bit. We will come back to Chiang Mai in November for the lantern festival so if you like reading about Chiang Mai, then you’ll see more blogs in a few months!
See ya
